We’re playing catch up from all the rain in May. We’re feeling further behind than most years. Just when it was dry enough to plant, it rained again.
May Flowers (and Rain)
As the saying goes, April showers bring May flowers. In our case it’s flowers and mud. The rain has greened everything up but it’s a little too wet to get things done.

Spring is here. Spring is here because the red-winged blackbirds and meadow larks have returned for the season. This is when I know it is really spring.
